Acceptable Use Policy

Effective date:
October 2, 2026
Last updated:
October 2, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to Speargly and other Glyffio products and services that reference it. Speargly is a SaaS product of Glyffio (Visual Experience Platform / asset optimizer). “You” means the customer or user of the Services.

Violation of this AUP may result in suspension or termination of access, as described in the Speargly Terms of Service.

1. Lawful Use

You may use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the Speargly Terms of Service (or other applicable Glyffio terms) and this AUP.

Glyffio builds tools for startups, SMEs, and creators to distribute digital products and optimize asset workflows. Speargly’s role is a visual delivery control plane — ingest origins, apply optimization policy, queue transforms, and explain results — not a DAM, CMS, or general content host.

2. Prohibited Activities

You must not, and must not allow others to:

2.1 Unlawful activity

  • Use the Services in connection with any illegal activity or to violate any applicable law or regulation.

2.2 Intellectual property infringement

  • Submit, process, or distribute content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, publicity, or other intellectual-property or proprietary rights — including ingesting origin URLs for media you are not authorized to optimize or deliver.

2.3 Fraud and deception

  • Use the Services for fraud, phishing, identity theft, or other deceptive practices.

2.4 Malware and harmful code

  • Upload, transmit, or distribute viruses, worms, trojans, ransomware, or other malicious code, including via origin URLs submitted to Speargly.

2.5 Unauthorized access

  • Attempt to access accounts, systems, origins, or data without authorization, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Glyffio systems except with Glyffio’s prior written permission.
  • Ingest or probe origin URLs you are not allowed to access.

2.6 Abuse of the Services

  • Overload, flood, or otherwise abuse Speargly ingest, probe, queue, or optimization capacity in a way that degrades the Services for others;
  • Circumvent plan limits, rate limits, or usage controls if introduced;
  • Resell or provide the Services to third parties except as expressly permitted by Glyffio;
  • Use Speargly to scrape or harvest content from third-party origins in violation of those origins’ terms or applicable law;
  • Treat Speargly as a permanent media archive or file host contrary to its transient inventory / control-plane design.

2.7 Security bypass

  • Bypass, disable, or interfere with security, authentication, or access-control features of the Services.

2.8 Interference with the platform

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of Speargly, Glyffio infrastructure, or related networks;
  • Reverse engineer the Services except to the limited extent permitted by law.

2.9 Harmful or malicious activity

  • Process or deliver content that is exploitative of minors, facilitates severe harm, or is otherwise clearly malicious;
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse Glyffio personnel or other users through the Services.

3. Customer Content and Origins

  1. 3.1

    You are responsible for origin URLs and Customer Content you submit to Speargly, including ensuring you have rights to process that content through an asset optimization / visual delivery control plane.

  2. 3.2

    You must not designate origins or content that you are not authorized to access or optimize. Landing-page URL prefill into Ingest does not waive this obligation — content is not ingested until you submit Ingest, and you remain responsible for what you submit.

4. Reporting

If you become aware of misuse of the Services, contact support@glyffio.com.

5. Changes

Glyffio may update this AUP from time to time. The current version will be available at https://glyffio.com/policies/terms.
